I'm an artist, curator, broadcaster, writer and occasional musician. This website was created when I was at art college and since then has been added to sporadically! Here's a short summary of my art and radio activities in recent years:
During 2021, the TAAG arts and community centre was closed while repair work was undertaken. I organised fundraising exhibitions & sales before and after the 2nd lockdown and latterly, I've organised, with other trustees, exhibitions in the former Beachcomber cafe on the seafront. I also curated and participated in the 'Something Different' exhibition there. During lockdown I broadcast for thealbumzone.com, which distributes shows for stations including TWCfm, RTIfm, and Radio Caroline.
In 2020 I ran our crowdfunder campaign to buy the TAAG building, which finally happened in October of that year.
In 2019 I added two new radio shows - 'Between the Buttons' on Phonic FM and 'Strange Daze' on Soundart Radio. I also curated an art exhibition 'Turn' at the Space Gallery, Dartington from October. In February 2019 I curated and participated in an exhibition called Digging for Victory at TAAG in Teignmouth.
In September 2018 I participated in One Year Later at Plymouth College of Art, as part of Plymouth Art Weekender. Before that, I organised an exhibition for Art Week Exeter, incorporating Exeter's Vanished Rock Venues, which was originally a podcast. This is now a radio show on Phonic FM. During March 2018, I participated in Counter, the Plymouth art book fair, showing zines and other paper-based work as part of the Analogue Collective.
I graduated from Plymouth College of Art in 2017. I staged a solo popup retrospective Five Years at Devonport Live in April. This was followed by the PCA Fine Art Degree Show in June, and by a group exhibition, Absolutely Everything, at TAAG, Teignmouth in October/November.
