From June 9 to 15th I'm organising an exhibition of Folklore, Art & Crafts, Poems & Zines, and Exeter Rock Memories, entitled 'Gathered from Coincidence'  for Art Week Exeter - located in the Maketank Unit, 5 Paris Street.

The artist/maker group includes The Folk Preservation Society (Amerie & Harry from Teignmouth), Matt Thomas – poet/artist from RAAY (Plymouth), Clare Heaton – artist/soft sculptor, Jez Winship – photographer/writer, Whitney-Anne Baker – artist, Ruth Carpenter – artist, Sam Harrison – artist, Steve Brown – exhibition curator/artist; and FPS maker members - Dartmoor Leather, Hedgerow & Dandelion, Earthcult, Off The Hoof, DMRInDevon, Rima Staines, Crazy Tiger, Victoria Clarke, Suzi Crockford, Sculptworks, Nomi McCleod.

The exhibition includes includes many kinds of art and crafts, and there is a strong Folkloric strand running through pieces exhibited by Teignmouth’s Folk Preservation Society and its maker/members. This strand follows through into some of the other artists’ work, which includes imagery, soft sculpture, textiles and photography. In addition, the exhibition includes poetry, zines & artist books, and a reprise of Exeter’s Vanished Rock Venues. In short, there is something for everyone!

In January 2025 Pete and I played a couple of short sets, as 'The Cancelled Thursdays', and with 'The Stalactites', for the Cave social at the Alice Cross Centre.

In September 2024 I participated in River Radio, which broadcast for one weekend from the Custom House on Exeter Quay. My contributions were 'Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go' about the Exeter quay clubs and hosting the final 'River Radio Roundup'. Most of the programmes from the weekend can be found here, including my contributions.
